Selected work

The jobs,
in full.

Written the way we would describe them standing in the room: what came out, what went in, and what the person paying for it said when we had gone.

A refitted bathroom with a walk-in shower, a vanity unit and a large framed mirrorBathrooms

A bathroom taken back to the joists

A full refurbishment: everything out, the pipework re-run to suit the new layout, the wet areas tanked and pressure-tested before a single board went back on. The tiling was set out from the eye line so the cuts land where nobody looks. The team swept the flat down at the end of every day, which the customer noticed more than any of the rest of it.

  • Complete strip-out, including the old screed and tanking
  • First-fix plumbing re-run and pressure-tested
  • Tanking to the shower and bath zones
  • Full tiling, sanitaryware, screen and extraction
  • Decoration and making good throughout

Ilgar and his team did an amazing job with our bathroom refurb. I’m stunned by the work carried out, for the price the level of professionalism shown is second to none. Ilgar was always available for me when I needed assistance, I loved his patience with me. Also thanks for the workers for cleaning the dust everyday :)

Cladding, and the detailing behind it

External work is judged at the junctions — around openings, at the bottom edge, and wherever two materials have to meet and still shed water. Most of the days on this job went into the parts that end up hidden: the battening, the cavity, the drips and stop ends. The visible finish took the least time and is the only part anyone can see.

  • Battening, breather membrane and cavity detailing
  • Cladding installation and alignment set out from the openings
  • Reveals, sills, drips and stop ends
  • Rainwater goods and terminations
  • Access coordination and clearance on completion

I was very impressed by Vugar and his team. Their quote was competitive, they were reliable and punctual throughout the job, things ran smoothly, and most importantly the end job was excellent and to a very high quality of finish. I’ve already recommended IGA IT LIMITED to a friend whose bathroom fitting his team are doing currently, and would not hesitate to recommend IGA IT LIMITED again in future.

A fitted kitchen with a stone worktop, a patterned splashback and an integrated fridgeKitchens

A kitchen built from the floor up

The room came back to brick before anything was fitted. Services moved to suit the layout rather than the layout bending around where the pipes happened to be, the floor was levelled, the walls were made square, and only then did the first unit go on the wall. It is the slow way round and it is why the doors still line up.

  • Strip-out, disposal and protection to the rest of the flat
  • Water, waste and power moved to the new layout
  • Floor levelling, plastering and making good
  • Units, worktop, splashback and appliance fitting
  • Tiling, decoration and second fix

These are jobs the company has done, and the words under them are its customers’ own, published on Checkatrade. Addresses, values and dates are left off on purpose — they belong to the client, not to us.

Photography here shows the type and standard of work described rather than the specific job.

Plenty of work has no photograph worth showing.

Repairs, alterations and the jobs that are finished the same week. They pay the bills, they are how most people meet us, and they are quoted exactly the same way as everything else.

  • Re-piping and boiler relocations
  • Leak tracing, and making good after somebody else
  • Structural openings and steels to an engineer’s design
  • Soft strip and structural take-down
  • Radiators, towel rails and underfloor heating
  • Fascias, soffits and rainwater goods

A conversation costs nothing, the visit is free, and the quote is itemised. If it turns out we are not the right firm for the job, we will say so — that is a better outcome for both of us than finding out in month two.
